To enable contractors on behalf of BT to demolish an existing manhole and rebuild it a temporary eastbound one-way system will be put into place as from Sunday 14 February for a period of two weeks.This will result in services towards Brighton being diverted as follows: on leaving the Waitrose stop services will travel via Friars Walk, Lansdown Place, Southover Road, Southover High Street, Bell Lane and Winterbourne Hollow returning to normal route at the junction with Brighton Road by Lewes Prison. A temporary stop will be introduced at the bottom of Watergate Lane.
Eastbound services will not be affected by the closure.
