Whether bought on the bus, on the m-ticket app, on the key, or as a scratchcard our SAVER ticket has two zones:
Our citySAVER ticket is ideal if you only travel around the city of Brighton & Hove and don't use our Night buses. The citySAVER is valid in area from Shoreham, Patcham, Falmer and Saltdean, not valid on City Sightseeing or Night Buses.(Boundaries are Old Shoreham Red Lion, Dyke Road/Tongdean Lane, Patcham Black Lion, Ditchling Road/Wild Park, Falmer Village, Saltdean Bannings Vale). See in map form here.
The boundary points for citySAVER tickets purchased from bus drivers, mean they are NOT VALID for travel on :
Our networkSAVER gives unlimited travel on all Brighton & Hove buses except the City Sightseeing tours. The networkSAVER is also valid on our Night buses. See in map form here.
You can buy our citySAVER and networkSAVER tickets for periods lasting for 1 day; 7 days; 28 days; 90 daysor a year. We strongly recommend buying tickets in advance as in most cases this is the cheapest option. You can buy in advance on our m-ticket app available on your smartphone, see here for details. You can also buy in advance online on the key smartcard or from our 1 Stop Travel shop, 26 North Street, Brighton, BN1 1EB or from our reception at 43 Conway Street, Hove, BN3 3LT. Please note that purchases made for the key smartcard in store will cost slightly more. For full details on these prices, click here.
Both the citySAVER and networkSAVER can be purchased for 1 day's travel directly from the bus driver on your first journey. The prices of these tickets from the driver are slightly more and prices can be found here.
We also have a scratch off style networkSAVER for 1 day, 7 days, or 1 month available from many shops, but these do cost a little more than buying in advance. A full list of shops selling our networkSAVER tickets is available here.
All of our 1 day SAVER tickets have a day expiry time which starts at 4:30am and end the following day at 4:30am. This doesn't take into account the time the ticket has been activated.
Please note that SAVER tickets purchased in advance on the key smartcard remain available for use for 12 months after the purchase date and then expire. Scratch off style SAVER tickets have an expiry date on them which ends on 31 December of the latest year given on the ticket, and cannot be replaced or refunded once this expiry date has passed.
Please note that although SAVER tickets give the freedom to travel anywhere on a Brighton & Hove bus they are generally not valid for travel on buses run by other bus companies (Stagecoach, Compass Travel). However, they are valid on certain routes which are funded by local authorities:
