All our buses are low-floor and wheelchair-accessible. Allowing you to board any bus, unless the driver thinks that it is too crowded for you to travel safely.
Buggies come in all shapes and sizes, making it difficult to stipulate how many we can carry. Our guidance capacity is for 2 buggies, but this may be less if a wheelchair or large buggy is on board.
We ask that customers are considerate of others and would encourage owners of large buggies to consider using a small, lightweight buggy when travelling on our buses, as this helps to improve the travelling experience for all. For safety reasons and general customer comfort, your buggy must not be positioned in the middle aisle.
In the event of a wheelchair user requiring the designated wheelchair space, drivers will request for customers to vacate the area and for buggies to be folded. Other than in exceptional circumstances, and example being a buggy carrying medical equipment, the law requires that we endeavour to vacate the wheelchair bay to enable disabled people to travel, delaying the bus if necessary.
If a buggy is unable to be folded, we can provide Helping Hand card that will discreetly advise the driver and ensure any assistance required is provided.
