Deaf Awareness Week

We are proud to once again be partnering with Action On Hearing Loss to promote Deaf Awareness Week.

We warmly invite you to join us on board one of our brand new buses at Churchill Square on 17 May between 11am and 2.30pm

The bus will be parked at Stop D where Action On Hearing Loss and Brighton & Hove Bus customer service staff will be on hand to offer support, advise and provide answers to any questions asked.

Come down and see us for:

  • The opportunity to try out the on board bus loop system.
  • Free hearing checks.
  • Information and advice about hearing loss.
  • Lipreading and sign language taster sessions.
  • Demonstrations of the latest assistive technology.
  • Information about Brighton's hearing support coffee morning.
  • Information on accessible bus travel.
  • Information about the award winning 'Helping Hand' card scheme.
