HO HO HO - a message from Santa!
Whilst Rudolf and the other reindeers are resting up and getting ready for Christmas, Brighton & Hove Buses have donated one of their wonderful open top buses to transport me around the city. I'll be joined by Santa's little helpers who are collecting money for two fantastic charities - The Martlets and The Argus Appeal. I even have my very own Santa Tracker so you'll know where to find me.
One of my helpers at Brighton & Hove Buses has listed the dates of my routes below. Its worth taking a quick look as some of the nights and roads have changed. This year, and for the first time ever, I'll be visiting Peacehaven on the 19th of December with my bus. Wherever you live in the city, I'll be close by, so please come along and give me a wave!
Each evening I will travel from the North Pole to the first street at 5.30pm, finishing around 8.30pm. To make sure I see as many children, and adults, as possible I will stay on the bus this year. My little helpers at The Argus have provided a list of all the places where you can come and meet me.
And lastly an important message for parents and carers - please make sure children are safe and with an adult at all times. With Christmas approaching, the nights are dark and the roads can get busy - my bus is very popular!
See you all very soon.
Santa Claus xxx
As Santa Claus has already advised some routes and nights have changed. Sadly we can't visit every street nor can we guarantee that the nights visited will be the same the following year. We will continue to review the routes and nights allocated to each area, although this can be dependent on parked cars, trees and other considerations.
Please note that every effort will be made to keep to our schedule and route, although in the event of adverse weather conditions this may not be possible.
