Flat Fare and CentreFare

Flat Fare
Paying for bus travel is as easy as possible, it's a flat fare of £1.80 for all journeys throughout the Brighton and Hove conurbation, stretching from Shoreham in the west to Falmer and Saltdean in the east.
Centrefare
CentreFare £1.50 in the area bounded by:
Palmeira Square - Montefiore Road - BHASVIC - Preston Circus - Elm Grove/Lewes Road - Race Hill - Bedford Street
Available for any one journey in the area at anytime of day. Not valid on Night Buses N7, N25, N29, N69, N98 or N99.
Children under 14 and teens of any age with a Bus ID all travel for a discounted flat fare of 90p. There is a 50p flat fare in the evenings and weekends for Bus ID holders.
The fare on Night Buses
- N7 and N25 is £2.20
- Nightclub buses N98, N99 the fare is £3.00
- and on the N29, N69 it is £5.00
Short Hop Fares
Short hop fares have been introduced across the city for a £1. Popular journeys such as Hove Station to Hove Town Hall, Downs Park to Portslade and Fiveways to London Road.
There is also a tourist fare between Brighton Station and Churchill Square, Brighton Pier or the Royal Pavilion for just £1.
