Standard cash fares
There's a standard single journey fare of £2.70 throughout the Brighton & Hove area, stretching from Shoreham in the west to Falmer and Saltdean in the east. With £2.20 fares available for short hops or in the central area of the city.
Cash (and contactless) fares to out-of-city destinations vary (Peacehaven, Newhaven, Seaford, Eastbourne, Lewes, Ringmer, Uckfield, Crowborough, Tunbridge Wells, Upper Beeding, Bramber and Steyning).
For further details click on the fares PDF link on each individual route page. Full route listing.
Please note that during this time we still accept cash but we don’t offer change, instead we provide a change voucher. This is to help with reducing direct contact with the driver.
We are changing the way in which we redeem change vouchers
From 23 September, all change vouchers will be printed with an expiry date of three months from the date of issue. Please make sure that you redeem any vouchers that you have as soon as possible to avoid them expiring. Funds from unclaimed change vouchers will go to charity.
