An opportunity to take the bus to discover and walk through Waterhall (home to the Wilding Waterhall project) with expert ranger Mike.

Make the most of a long summer's evening and discover Waterhall, home to the Wilding Waterhall project – restoring chalk grassland and improving biodiversity on a former golf course.

Expert guide ranger Mike will share how the project is creating a habitat rich in wildflowers and insects, biodiverse native scrub, woodland and dew ponds. This is a 3.5 mile walk and will take about 2 hours. This route includes some steep slopes and uneven ground. It is mostly on grass paths with some mud, tarmac sections and bridleway gates.

Well behaved dogs are permitted but must be on leads at all times. We will encounter ponies and cattle.

Free bus saver ticket provided. The meeting point is Bus Stop L on Queen's Road.
