Portslade Old Village - Roadworks & Temporary Bus Stops
Due to roadworks in the High Street, Portslade Old Village/Mile Oak, the Portslade Old Village bus stops will be suspended from 09:30 on Monday 18 November until 15:30 on Friday 20 December. During this time temporary stops will be in place: - For 1 services there will be a temporary bus stop located in both directions just at the end of Valley Road before the junction with the High Street. - For 1A services towards Brighton, services will be stopping at the High Street bus stop already located just up the road. Mile Oak services will be stopping at a temporary stop opposite, heading up the High Street.

Grand Parade, Eastbourne - Fire
Due to the fire on Grand Parade in Eastbourne, our Coaster services are unable to serve Eastbourne Pier. Until further notice service 12 and 12X are operating the 12A route to/from Winter Garden. Please note 12X journeys that start from Birch Road (departure times with a B next to them) will operate as normal until just before Eastbourne Pier where they will turn right onto Marine Parade Road and then left onto Seaside Road. Services will then turn right onto Cavendish Place and left onto Pevensey Road continuing onto Lismore Road. Services will then take the 4th exit at Memorial Roundabout onto South Street to resume normal route. The following stops cannot be served during this time: Eastbourne Pier, Terminus Road and Trinity Trees.
A259 Exceat, Seaford - Road Closure
From 20:00 until 04:00 the following morning the A259 will be closed at Exceat on Monday to Friday nights between Monday 9 and Friday 20 December inclusive. During this time the following services will need to divert. Coastal services that terminate at Newhaven or Seaford will operate as normal and from 19:35 a shuttle service will connect Denton Corner to Seaford when Eastbourne services are scheduled to operate. Coastal services that are scheduled to operate to and from Eastbourne will need to follow the below diversion. Service 12 / 12A /12X services towards Eastbourne from Denton Corner will head up Avis Road and then travel up the A26 until it joins the A27. Services will then travel eastbound until the junction of the A27 and A2270 in Polegate. Services will then follow the A2270 Eastbourne Road until the junction of the A259, to which services will resume normal route. Services towards Brighton will operate the above diversion in the opposite direction.
