    Montpelier Road - Road Closure

    Montpelier Road - Road Closure From 29 April for up to 36 weeks, Montpelier Road will be closed in phases to enable Gas Work. During this time the following services will need to divert: Service 18 Services from Seven Dials will need to turn right onto Montpelier Place, then left onto York Road. Services will then turn left onto Western Road and resume normal route from Waitrose. Service 21A Services towards Goldstone Valley will not be able to use Montpelier Road from the junction of Western Road. Services will NOT turn right into Montpelier Road but will need to continue along Western Road and turn right into York Road, services will then turn right onto Montpelier Terrace and then left into Montpelier Road to then resume normal route. Services towards the Marina are the same diversion in reverse.

    Tunbridge Wells to Brighton via Eridge, Crowborough, Five Ash Down, Uckfield, Halland, Ringmer, Lewes

    Tunbridge Wells - Diversion

    From Sunday 7 July until Saturday 31 August services 28, 29 and 29X will be on a diversion in Tunbridge Wells town centre due to roadworks. Heading into Tunbridge Wells all services will be able to serve Tunbridge Wells Station as normal. Heading towards Brighton all passengers will need to cross the road and catch the bus heading northbound at the temporary stop just along from Tunbridge Wells Station. Please be advised services will be departing the temporary stop 5 minutes earlier than scheduled departure times from Tunbridge Wells Station southbound. Services will then be diverted left into Church Road and will serve the stop outside Pitcher and Piano. Services will then turn left onto the A26 where they will resume normal route towards Brighton. During this time we will be unable to serve the following stops: - War Memorial (both directions) - Monson Road - Royal Victoria Place - Tunbridge Wells Station (Southbound)

    A275 Brighton Road, Lewes - Night Closures

    From Monday 15 until Monday 22 July the A275 Brighton Road at Lewes will be closed each night for resurfacing between 20:00 and 06:00 the following morning. During these times services will need to use the following diversions. Service 28/29/N29 - Eastbound Services will need to divert via the A27 and Cuilfail Tunner serving Waitrose and returning to normal route. Service 28/29 - Westbound Services from Lewes Bus Station will need to turn right at the war memorial and then use the Cuilfail Tunnel and A27 to resume normal route. During the closure we are unable to serve the following stops: - Hope-in-the-Valley - Houndean Rise - Southdown Avenue - Lewes Prison - Black Horse - Pelham Arms - Lewes High Street - School Hill Top
