Due to a roadworks the Hove Street bus stop Eastbound (towards Brighton) will be unable to be served on 12th and 13th October 2026

Western Road, Hove - Roadworks - Diversion

1st Oct 2026 - 6th Nov 2026

Due to essential roadworks on Western Road, we will be unable to serve Norfolk Square and Brunswick Place in both directions.

The nearest alternative stops are Palmeira Square and Waitrose.

The Montpelier Road bus stop on Route 21 will also be suspended.

Due to the size and turning requirements of buses, only certain roads can be used as a diversion. We have worked closely with Brighton and Hove City Council to find the best available routes to keep buses moving while minimising the impact on passengers and local communities.

Tanyard Lane, Steyning - Road Closure - Both Directions

Due to a road closure of Tanyard Lane in Steyning buses are diverting via Church Street in both directions.

Old Shoreham Road - Incident - Diversion

Due to an incident on Old Shoreham Road, routes 2, 6 and 46 are on diversion in both directions.

Passengers are advised to use:
Route 2: Stapley Road, Southern Cross (towards Shoreham) or Applesham Way (towards Rottingdean)
Route 6: Portslade Station or Warrior Close
Route 46: Portslade Station, Southern Cross (towards Southwick) or Applesham Way (towards Hollingbury)
