These may affect your journey
Between 19:00 and 06:00 the following morning each night from Monday 14 October until Friday 18 October inclusive, the Level Crossing at Newhaven, Drove Road will be closed due
to roadworks. During these days services will need to use the following diversions.
Service 12 - Westbound
Services from Drove Road will need to turn right onto the A26 and right onto A259 and loop back onto the flyover from the roundabout. Crew changes will take place at New Road.
Service 12 - Eastbound
Services from the A259 Flyover will need to turn left down the slip road and onto the A26. Services will then turn left onto Drove Road and resume normal route from the roundabout.
Service 12A - Westbound
Services will continue on the A26 turning left into Drove Road towards the McDonalds/flyover
roundabout. Services will then take the 1st exit onto the A259 towards Brighton and resume normal route.
Service 12A - Eastbound
Services will continue over the flyover to the McDonalds/flyover roundabout and come off on the 3rd exit onto Drove Road. Services will then turn right on to the A26 to then serve New Road northbound.
During these works both the Newhaven Town Station bus stops will be suspended.

The N12 Night bus service only operates on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, currently on the website it shows it as operating on all Monday to Saturday nights, we are working on solving this technical issue as soon as we can.
From Monday 5 August until Sunday 8 December, Montpelier Road will be closed in phases to enable Gas Work. During this time the following services will need to divert:
Services from Seven Dials will operate along Denmark Terrace and then turn right onto Temple Gardens. Services will then turn left into York Avenue continuing onto York Road and turning left into Western Road to resume normal route from Waitrose.
Service 21A - Eastbound
After the top of Furze Hill stop services will turn right into York Avenue continuing onto York Road then left into Western Road to resume normal route from Waitrose.
Service 21A - Westbound
After serving Waitrose Montpelier Road, services will turn left into Montpelier Place, right into
York Avenue, and left into Furze Hill to resume normal route.
From Sunday 7 July until Sunday 3 November services 28, 29 and 29X will be on a diversion in Tunbridge Wells town centre due to roadworks.
Heading into Tunbridge Wells all services will be able to serve Tunbridge Wells Station as normal.
Heading towards Brighton all passengers will need to cross the road and catch the bus heading northbound at the temporary stop just along from Tunbridge Wells Station. Please be advised services will be departing the temporary stop 5 minutes earlier than scheduled departure times from Tunbridge Wells Station southbound.
Services will then be diverted left into Church Road and will serve the stop outside Pitcher and Piano. Services will then turn left onto the A26 where they will resume normal route towards Brighton.
During this time we will be unable to serve the following stops:
- War Memorial (both directions)
- Monson Road
- Royal Victoria Place
- Tunbridge Wells Station (Southbound)
These disruptions could affect future journeys
The Seaford Bonfire parade will take place on Saturday 19 October resulting in the main A259 being closed in Seaford between 19:00 and 20:30. All services on 12 and 12A will be diverted during these times.
After the Hill Rise bus stop services will operate via Beacon Road, Carlton Road, Belgrave Road, Upper Belgrave Road, Lexden Road, Vale Road and Alfriston Road to resume normal route at Sutton Corner. Services towards Brighton will do the above diversion in the opposite direction. Any bus stops on the diversion will be observed on request.
Service 12As that serve the Chyngton Estate will operate the above diversion and will continue onto the Chyngton Estate. From the Lexden Court bus stop services will turn onto Lexden Road, Upper Belgrave Road, Blegrave Road, Carlton Road and Beacon Road.
Services that normally terminate at Seaford Library will operate the above diversion terminating at Sutton Corner.
Between 20:00 and 05:30 the following morning Gildredge Road in Eastbourne will be closed each night from Monday 21 until Wednesday 23 October, inclusive, for line painting, dependent on weather conditions.
Services towards Brighton will divert via Cornfield Road and Terminus Road. The nearest stops will be located at Eastbourne Train Station for the duration of the works.
