Bus Shelter Exhibition
From 22nd April to 1st June, Brighton’s streets will become an open-air gallery like no other. Beside the Seaside is a groundbreaking outdoor photo exhibition by world-renowned photographer Martin Parr and Brighton’s beloved JJ Waller - and it’s all viewable from the top deck of a bus!

Over 60 stunning photographs of British seaside life are displayed on the roofs of bus shelters around Brighton. To see the full show, simply hop on a Brighton & Hove double decker bus, grab a seat upstairs, and enjoy the view as the city rolls by.

For those not travelling on the top deck, the full gallery is available to enjoy online.

Beside the Sea is part of the Brighton Festival 2025 which will take place from Saturday 3rd May - Sunday 26th May.
