Fare updates 30th March 2026

From Monday 30th March, we’re updating our ticket range to make travelling simpler for our customers. As part of our review, adult one-day ticket prices will stay the same, and outside of the citySAVER area single tickets have been frozen. Plus single fares are still capped at £3 until at least March 2027. 

We’re also launching great new options, including two-day family tickets, and simplifying our range by removing return tickets outside of the citySAVER area.  

These changes help us to continue to provide affordable fares while investing in reliable, sustainable bus services for the future. 

What’s new? 

Eastbourne SAVER tickets   

These are new tickets available on-bus and through the mobile app. It includes travel on Brighton and Hove Buses within the Eastbourne, Polegate and Hailsham area. 

These are not valid on Eastbourne Sightseeing.  An adult day ticket will be £5.90 on bus, child £2.95. Other durations are available on our mobile app, please see below for prices: 

Two-day family tickets 

In addition to the one-day tickets we already offer within our app, we’re introducing new two-day family tickets.  

What’s changing? 

A small number of adult single journeys within the citySAVER zone will increase by 10p. These will all be outside of the Brighton and Hove City Council area.  

There will also be a small increase of 5p to child single journeys travelling during peak times. 

Our 7 day contactless Tap On, Tap Off caps are changing, please see below for details.  

Some citySAVER and networkSAVER products that offer excellent value for longer-term travel will see a small increase. Our updated fares are live on our Ways to Pay section of the website.
