Will Bayley MBE and Bly Twomey smiling As the Paris 2024 Summer Paralympic Games draw to a close in spectacular style, we want to extend our congratulations to Paralympians and Catch the Bus Month #ambussadors Will Bayley MBE and Bly Twomey.

Bly Twomey became Great Britain's youngest Paralympic Table Tennis medallist after winning the Bronze in the woman’s WS7 singles, as well as securing Bronze in the women’s WD14 doubles alongside Felicity Pickard at 14 years of age.

Will Bayley MBE, won Silver in the men’s MS7 singles during the Paralympic Games.

This year, the Paralympic Games coincided with the return of Catch the Bus Month. This initiative led by Bus Users UK returns with the aim to get everyone onboard and champion accessibility.

New research from Bus Users UK on the experiences of disabled bus passengers, ‘Why Are We Waiting?’ was published ahead of Catch the Bus Month with key findings on the roles infrastructure, bus design, information, bus drivers and passengers play in offering independence to those travelling with disabilities.
