Happy Sussex Day to all our bus users!

Today is Sussex Day, a celebration of the heritage, culture and landscape of Sussex. The day was coined by Ian Steedman, who last year was honoured with one of our award winning coaster buses named after him.

As Ian was a champion of bus travel and loved adventuring, we’re celebrating this year by highlighting the beautiful coastal walks you can reach on our Coaster buses.

Here are three of the best local walks and how to get to them by bus:

Kipling’s Walk, Rottingdean: 12, 12A, 12X, 13X

This walk is 3 miles long, taking roughly 2 hours to complete. It starts and ends at the war memorial and includes a wander through the lost village of Balsdean. Alight the bus at the White Horses in Rottingdean to access the route.
