Based at our Ringmer depot, the successful applicant will clean the interior and exterior of our vehicles to a high standard, keeping our fleet smart for the benefit of all our customers and colleagues. The post holder will also clean the premises and handle other duties, including fuelling vehicles, carrying out safety checks, moving/parking vehicles, and completing associated paperwork.
This role has an 8 on / 2 off, 7 on / 4 off shift pattern.
Key duties and responsibilities:
• Cleaning the interior and exterior of our vehicles to a high standard
• Cleaning our Ringmer depot premises
• Handling various other duties, including fuelling vehicles, safety checks, moving/parking vehicles and completing associated paperwork
• Shunting vehicles within the depot
You will need:
• Flexibility: the successful post holder will be required to work shifts, which will include early mornings, evenings and weekends. You will also be asked to cover other sites when required
• Awareness of Health and Safety standards, particularly COSHH, given the nature of the role
• The ability to work on your own without supervision, as well as being an effective team player
• Commitment to producing a high standard of work and delivering excellent customer service
• The ability to meet the physically demanding elements of the role
• A PCV licence and previous experience in a cleaning role are desirable
