Community Support Fund 2026
Brighton & Hove Buses continues to connect communities, by providing access to work, education and healthcare. Social connections, made possible by bus, are vital in bringing people together and help combat isolation and loneliness.
As well as connecting communities it's really important to also do what we can to provide help and support local community groups and organisations who are helping so many local people.
One of the ways we can help is via the Community Support Fund.
Twice a year we donate small pots of money and free bus travel to local charities and community groups.
Funding is available from £50 to £500 with similar amounts for bus travel. To qualify for an award the charity or community group must operate within the Brighton & Hove Buses network.
Awards are decided by the community team panel at Brighton & Hove Buses which consists of colleagues from across the organisation and will be judged on how well our support will serve and support the community in which we operate.
During the award process if the panel decides the applicant will not be awarded the grant money or free travel tickets they may look towards other ways to provide help and support. This could include the provision of free poster space on the buses or other awards at their discretion.
