Eastbourne Sightseeing returns with a brand-new look!

3 months ago Fri 27th Feb 2026

Eastbourne Sightseeing is set to return for the 2026 season on Saturday 28th February, flaunting a fresh new bus design across its open-top fleet. Each bus will showcase well-known landmarks along the route, including Beachy Head Lighthouse, giving them a distinctive new presence as they make their return for spring.

Passengers can also look forward to a number of onboard enhancements this season, including a brand-new sound system for the tour commentary and USB charging points at every seat, making for an even more enjoyable and relaxing experience while taking in the views from the top deck.

The full route lasts approximately one hour and includes 16 stops, each clearly marked with an Eastbourne Sightseeing bus stop flag. The tour starts at the Eastbourne Pier and also picks up at Eastbourne railway station. Passengers can ride, explore and repeat as many times as they like within 24 hours, and discover the best of Eastbourne, including the Lifeboat Museum, Italian Gardens, the Belle Tout Lighthouse, Beachy Head, Birling Gap, East Dean and the town centre. From the top deck, visitors can enjoy uninterrupted views of the blue sea, chalk downs, and unspoilt habitats across the South Downs.

Nick Hill, Commercial Director of Eastbourne Sightseeing, said:

This year we wanted to give the buses a look that properly reflects where they operate. The new design highlights some of Eastbourne’s most recognisable landmarks and gives the fleet a much stronger identity. We are looking forward to welcoming customers for another great season.

The service will operate hourly at weekends from 28th February until 22nd March, and from 28th March buses will run daily every 30 minutes through to 1st November.

Adult tickets are just £12, Senior and Student tickets are £10, Under 16s pay £6, and a Family ticket for up to two adults and two children is £29.
