Fake bus travel scam on social media

We have been made aware of a current scam on social media that offers ‘The Key Smartcard 6 months free travel’.
This is not a genuine offer and we urge you not to click on any links, engage with social media posts or provide personal data. The offer is being made by multiple handles and accounts and via sponsored posts. Some posts may contain images that look like products from Brighton & Hove Buses such as a Keycard.
If you see an offer like this, please do not click on any links and report the post in the usual way.
Please be aware, the only current promotion that is genuine and offered by Brighton & Hove is the 7 days free travel with Google Wallet.
This s a genuine promotion in conjunction with Google Pay to promote the Brighton & Hove Buses Transit Insights card for android phones. This promotion will only be advertised on Brighton & Hove Buses’ channels including our website, social media, e-newsletters and on our buses.
