Mobile App

Our mobile app is more than just a ticketing system. In addition to purchasing tickets instantly and travelling straight away, there are a wealth of other tools available to you too, including:

  • Plan your journey so you get to where you need to be on time
  • See live departures for each of our bus stops to see when the next buses are expected
  • Track all buses on a live map to see where they are on the road and how far away they are from you
  • Register all your contactless cards so you can track your journeys, payments and progress towards journey caps
  • You can even gift tickets to others – perfect if you are a parent or carer purchasing tickets for your children

Using your app for tickets couldn’t be easier. Once you have purchased your ticket it will be stored in your wallet until you are ready to use it. You don’t have to activate it straight away. When you are ready to activate it, go to your wallet, tap “Activate now” and your ticket will show on your screen. Simply scan the QR code on your ticket when you board the bus and you’re on your way.

Some tickets require you to be verified before you activate them. This is done via a simple in-app verification process that takes a few minutes to submit and is usually completed the same day. Ticket machines are programmed to accept a variety of cards and passes. We recommend storing credit and debit cards separate to your mobile phone to avoid accidentally paying with your card instead of your app. This happens very rarely, but in the unlikely event this happens, please contact our customer services team who will make sure you are not out of pocket.
