September service update

Sun 27th Sep onwards

Service updates will take effect from Sunday 27th September, we recommend checking your journey times so you can get to where you need to go at a time that works for you.

Below is a summary of the main changes coming on Sunday 27th September.

12 - From Seaford to Brighton, Sunday journeys will start earlier at 08:03 from Chyngton Gardens. There is also an additional journey from Seaford Library to Chyngton Gardens at 07:59.

13X - New and improved winter timetable running on Sundays and public holidays, with frequency increased to every 20 minutes, compared to every 30 minutes in 2025.

25, 25X & N25 - Timetable returning to university term time schedule.
25: Monday – Friday every 8 minutes, Saturday every 10 minutes, Sunday and Public Holidays every 12 minutes
25X: every 30-35 minutes Monday to Friday until 18:30
N25: Monday - Saturday night, every 11 - 12 mins, Sundays and Public Holidays, every 20 - 30 mins

70 - Route 70 will be replaced with revised route 75 linking Lower Lower Bevendean and East Moulsecoomb which will also provide a new afternoon option for BACA pupils to return to Lower Bevendean from Bolney Road.

74 - School days only
Route 74 will operate a revised route and timetable. While the service will no longer serve Lower Bevendean, passengers in this area will continue to be served by route 75.
The route will remain unchanged between Egremont Place and Lewes Road Garage. From Lewes Road Garage, the bus will operate non-stop to Brighton University, before continuing its usual route to Patcham High School.
The revised route will result in much faster journey times to Patcham High from Queens Park and the southern section of Lewes Road, with the route picking up later on this section as a result.

75- School days only
Revised route now serving East Moulsecoomb with revised times between The Avenue and Patcham High School.
Part of the route replaces route 70 with a new additional afternoon link for BACA students from Bolney Road to Lower Bevendean.
The afternoon journey continues beyond The Avenue on to Lewes Road Bus Garage.

77 - The winter timetable will be reintroduced, with 8 journeys operating on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.

78 - The winter timetable will be reintroduced, with 9 journeys operating Monday to Friday and 7 journeys operating on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.

79 - The winter timetable will be reintroduced, with 7 journeys operating on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
