June Service Updates

Service updates will take effect from Sunday 14th June, including the introduction of brand-new route 20 linking Queens Park with Hollingdean via the City Centre, Brighton Station and London Road.
Below is a summary of the main changes.
3X - Route 3X is being extended to the Sports Complex at University of Brighton Falmer Campus.
Minor timetable changes will be introduced, with buses continuing to run up to every 15 minutes.
At Brighton Station, buses towards Brighton University Falmer will depart from stop B2 instead of B4.
11X - Due to low usage, route 11X will not operate this summer.
Alternative services are available on Cuckmere Community Bus routes 24 (Wednesdays & Fridays), 25 (Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays) and 47 (Saturdays, Sundays & Public Holidays).
Discovery tickets issued by Brighton & Hove Buses, as well as concessionary passes, are accepted for travel on Cuckmere Community Bus services.
13X - A summer service is being introduced Mondays to Saturdays.
On Sundays and Public Holidays, frequencies will increase to every 20 minutes.
18 - Replaced by new route 20.
20 - New cross-city route linking Queens Park, St James's Street / Edward Street, North Street, Imperial Arcade, Brighton Station, London Road Shops and Hollingdean. It will replace routes 18 & 50 and will serve all the current stops served in Queens Park and Hollingdean.
On Monday to Friday late mornings and early afternoons it will continue beyond Hollingdean to Lewes Road Sainsbury's at the request of the local community.
Buses will run every 15 minutes during the daytime on Mondays to Saturdays, every 20-25 minutes in the evenings and every 30 minutes on Sundays and Public Holidays.
The service will provide a number of new links including a service from Hollingdean to Brighton Station, Lewes Road Sainsbury's and St James's Street. It will provide a new link between Queens Park Road and London Road Shops. It will also offer a more regular service to Upper Gloucester Road and Buckingham Road.
In the city centre it will serve the Churchill Square Imperial Arcade stops on Dyke Road - stop C7 towards Hollingdean and stop C8 towards Queens Park.
On North Street it will stop at stops N1 & N4 towards Queens Park and stop S1 at Old Steine and North Street stop N6 towards Hollingdean.
At Brighton Station it will serve stop B4 towards Hollingdean and will stop on Frederick Place towards Queens Park.
21 - Buses will additionally stop at North Street (stop N1), providing more journey opportunities towards Queens Park.
25/25X/N25 - The vacation timetable is being reintroduced.
27 - At Brighton Station, buses towards Saltdean will depart from stop B5 instead of B2.
49 - Timetables will be revised Mondays to Saturdays.
Buses to and from East Moulsecoomb will continue to run every 10 minutes during the day. Some journeys from East Moulsecoomb will run only as far as Palmeira Square.
Alternative services are available along Portland Road, with routes 2 and 46 providing a regular service, along with route 25 during the morning peak.
50 - Replaced by new route 20.
