Santa Bus 2025 Fundraising Total Announced

We are delighted to announce that this year’s Santa Bus has raised an impressive £28,070, supporting 12 local charities and organisations. This means each charity will receive £2,339 to help fund their vital work in the community.

The Santa Bus once again brought festive cheer to neighbourhoods across the city in November and December 2025. With Santa aboard his beautifully decorated bus, families lined the streets to wave, celebrate, and donate to important local causes.

Since its inception, the Santa Bus initiative has raised over £453,000, and with this year’s total, making it a remarkable £481,070!

Mayor of Brighton & Hove, Councillor Amanda Grimshaw BEM, said:

"I’m absolutely delighted that last year’s Santa Bus has raised an incredible £28,070 for local charities, including my Mayor’s Charities. This much‑loved festive tradition not only brings joy to the streets of Brighton & Hove but also makes a real and measurable difference to the organisations supporting our residents every day. I was thrilled to join Santa, the charity teams and our wonderful volunteers, and I’m deeply grateful to everyone who donated. Your generosity helps keep our community strong, supported and connected.”

Businesses who joined as official Santa Bus Collection Points helped extend the reach of the campaign and boost donations for the city’s charities.

The Santa Bus will return next year - continuing its mission to bring joy, strengthen community spirit, and support the charities that make a real difference every day.
