Welcome to Virtual Bus 360, a virtual reality world that gives you 24-7 access to three buses via our vision for a sustainable transport super hub of the near future.

There's so much to discover when you get on board our buses. You can hear from the driver, check out the seating areas on both decks; including priority seating, buggy and dedicated wheelchair space. You can find out about the hearing loop system, GPS tracking, CCTV, USB charging points, air filters, free Wi-Fi and next stop audio-visual announcements. You can even ring the bell.

If you haven't been on a bus for a while why not take the time to wander around and hear from some of our customers, colleagues and partners who are keen to share their travelling experiences, advice and tips with you. Their stories take the form of short bite size films that include British Sign Language (BSL). There are 23 great films to choose from as you travel from bus to bus. Plus, there's lots of really helpful information available that includes all aspects of bus travel from journey planning, tickets and ways to pay, to real-time information, safety, environmental and clever tech features.

This platform offers another way to access information before you travel on our buses so you can be confident of what to expect. Choose the content you wish to explore  through the yellow highlighted boxes. These boxes contain the stories of passengers and colleagues and lots of links to webpages. These pages open in a new window so you can use your own screen reader. Other functions include text to speech inside the platform as well as access to a mute button for all sound.

Acknowledgments

A huge thank you to all our customers and colleagues who helped design and build this virtual platform. Their lived experiences and travel tips really contributed towards the design and gave the virtual world the essential ingredient which brought this all together: the human touch.

Thank you also to all the organisations who have contributed through their continued partnership and support and have helped us improve the training we provide to all of our colleagues: Alzheimer's Society, Grace Eyre, Guide Dogs, Translink, Possability People, Bus Users UK, Brighton & Hove Speak Out and Switchboard.

Finally thank you to Phil, Jason and the team at 4FInnovations who listened to feedback our customers, colleagues and partners' experiences and incorporated these into the design of VirtualBus.
