Uckfield Bus Station - Road Closure

12th Aug 2024 onwards

Due to a road and bus shelter upgrade, the Uckfield bus station forecourt will be closed from the 12th August until further notice, expected to be until approximately 6th October 2024.

There will be a temporary bus stop on Bell Lane facing West (Outside Windmill Feeds), which all buses will serve.

Mount Pleasant Road - Tunbridge Wells - Parade

13th Oct 2024

• Central Station (stop B), N-bound
• Central Station (stop T), S-bound
• War Memorial, N-bound
• War Memorial (stop Q), S-bound
• Monson Road (stop L), E-bound
• Royal Victoria Place, S-bound

Due to a parade, Mount Pleasant Road will be closed in both directions (10:50-11:59) on the 13th of October for a parade.

We will be unable to serve Victoria Place, the War Memorial, the Station stops or MonsonRoad during this time.

Please use the stop at Chapel Place.

Vale Road - Tunbridge Wells - Road Closure

16th - 23rd Oct 2024

• Central Station (stop B), N-bound
• Brighton Station (stop B), E-bound

Due to roadworks Vale Road will be closed each night between 20:00 - 05:00 (16th of October - 23rd October).

We will be unable to serve the station stop B in both directions and passengers should board or alight at the War Memorial.

Lewes High Street - Armistice day - Road Closure - Diversion

10th - 11th Nov 2024

• Affected stops:
• Lewes Waitrose, S-bound

Due to the Armistice event taking place, Lewes High Street will be closed for approximately 45 minutes both ways.

Services from Brighton will divert via the A27 and the Cuilfail Tunnel.
Services towards Brighton will follow the same diversion in reverse, all 29s will serve the Brooks Road bus stop opposite the Caffyns garage, then use the roundabout to turn around.

We will not be able to serve Waitrose during this time.

Yeomans - Ringmer - Bus Stop Suspension - Both Directions

27th Nov 2024 - 12th Dec 2024

• Yeomans, NE-bound

Due to roadworks from November the 11th until December the 12th , the Yeomans bus stops in Ringmer will be suspended both directions.
Two temporary bus stops will be put in after the usual stops.

Uckfield Late Night Shopping - Diversion

6th Dec 2024

Due to a late-night shopping event, part of Uckfield High Street will be closed between 17:00 - 22:30 on the 6th of December.

Buses from Brighton will be able to get to the bus station as normal, then divert in both directions.

Please board and alight at the Bus Station during this time.

Route 29A will be able to use normal route both directions.
