Portslade Railway Crossing - Diversion
Due to maintenance, the Portslade railway crossing will be closed.
Services 1, 1X and will be on diversion via Portland Road, Hallyburton Road, Victoria Road and Olive Road however no stops will be missed.
Service 46 will be unable to serve:
Glebe Villas
Portslade Station
Carlton Terrace
For the 46 service please us Olive Road or Sainsburys Benfield Valley stops
Western Road, Hove - Roadworks - Diversion
Due to essential roadworks on Western Road, we will be unable to serve Norfolk Square and Brunswick Place in both directions.
The nearest alternative stops are Palmeira Square and Waitrose.
The Montpelier Road bus stop on Route 21 will also be suspended.
Route 49 that terminates at Palmeira Square will now terminate at Imperial Arcade and restart at Churchill Square. Buses that terminate at Portslade Station will use the same diversion as all other routes.
Route 1X is currently able to serve Churchill Square towards Mile Oak before diverting although this may be subject to change from Monday 9th November.
Due to the size and turning requirements of buses, only certain roads can be used as a diversion. We have worked closely with Brighton and Hove City Council to find the best available routes to keep buses moving while minimising the impact on passengers and local communities.

Roadworks - Diversion - Queen Victoria Avenue
Due to emergency roadworks Queen Victoria Avenue is closed.
The 21 service is on diversion via Woodland Avenue in both directions. We will be unable to serve:
Bottom of Victoria Avenue
Edward Avenue
Elizabeth Avenue
Please use stops Goldstone Valley Shops or Woodland Avenue
Upper Gloucester Road - Stop Suspension
Due to roadworks Upper Gloucester bus stop towards Hollingdean will be unable to be served until further notice.
Please use: Buckingham Road and Brighton Station (stop B4).
