Due to Battle Road Road Closure There are divisions on the route:
Towards Eastbourne:
After Amberstone View bus stop the buses will be turning at the Hawkswood Service Station roundabout, and heading back along Hawkswood Road, they will turn left into Hawks Road and follow that road to the end. At the end they will then turn left onto the London Road B2104 to resume normal route.
Towards Brighton:
After North Street the buses will continue onto the London Road B2104 and then turn right onto Hawks Road. At the top of the road they will turn right onto Upper Horsebridge Road and then continue along to the Hawkswood Service Station roundabout to turn around and then resume normal route from Amberstone View.

Church Road / Sackville Road - Roadworks - Diversion

Due to roadworks, route 49 towards Portslade will be unable to serve Westbourne Street, Sackville Road (Stop U), Blatchington Road (Stop T) and Hove Street (stop S) between the 6th and 19th of January.
Passengers are advised to use George Street or Scott Road during this time.

Due to roadworks, Regent Hill will be closed all day on the 19th of January
Services will need to divert via Dyke Road, Seven Dials, Vernon Terrace/Montpelier Road, then Left onto Western Road to get to Churchill Square
Service 18 that serve Homelees House, will then need to divert via Upper North Street past the top of Regent Hill, Left down York Road, then Left onto Western Road to get to Churchill.
Please allow extra time to travel as we may see delays on some services due to these diversions.
The Hurst Arms Eastbourne - Roadworks - Bus Stop Suspension

Between 20:00 - 06:00 on the 20th and 21st of January the Hurst Arms bus stops in Eastbourne will be suspended both directions.
There will be temporary stops in place during this time, the stops will be placed next to Hurst Road.
Hanover Street - Bus Stop Suspension

Market Street Lewes - Road Closure - Diversion

Due to roadworks part of Market Street in Lewes will be closed overnight 20:00-04:00 on the 3rd of Feburary , services towards Lewes from Brighton will turn Left into Fisher Street, then right at the end of that road to regain normal route.
There will be no stops missed.
Hailsham Church (Eastbound towards Eastbourne) - Bus Stop Suspension
