Western Road, Hove - Roadworks - Diversion
Due to essential roadworks on Western Road, we will be unable to serve Norfolk Square and Brunswick Place in both directions.
The nearest alternative stops are Palmeira Square and Waitrose.
The Montpelier Road bus stop on Route 21 will also be suspended.
Route 1X will be unable to serve the Churchill Square bus stop towards Mile Oak, due to the buses diverting up Dyke Road.
Due to the size and turning requirements of buses, only certain roads can be used as a diversion. We have worked closely with Brighton and Hove City Council to find the best available routes to keep buses moving while minimising the impact on passengers and local communities.

Westbourne Villas (Eastbound Towards Whitehawk / Brighton Town Centre) - Temporary Stop
The Westbourne Villas (Eastbound Towards Whitehawk / Brighton Town Centre) stop has been moved to a temporary stop location outside the Hove Museum of Creativity.
High View Road - Roadworks - Stop Not In Use
Due to roadworks, we are currently unable to serve High View Road in the eastbound direction (toward Eastbourne/Newhaven/Peacehaven).
Passengers are advised to use the bus stops Broomfield Avenue and Telscombe Tye during this time.

Lewes Road, Northbound - Incident
Due to an incident on Lewes Road Northbound (towards Falmer/Lewes) buses will be diverting via The Highway, The Avenue and will follow around the 49 route and will turn back onto Lewes Road via Moulsecoomb Way.

Please use: Brighton University or Ringmer Road
Buses towards Brighton on Lewes Road will follow normal route.
