Western Road, Hove - Roadworks - Diversion
Due to essential roadworks on Western Road, we will be unable to serve Norfolk Square and Brunswick Place in both directions.
The nearest alternative stops are Palmeira Square and Waitrose.
The Montpelier Road bus stop on Route 21 will also be suspended.
Route 49 that terminates at Palmeira Square will now terminate at Imperial Arcade and restart at Churchill Square. Buses that terminate at Portslade Station will use the same diversion as all other routes.
Route 1X will be unable to serve Churchill Square towards Mile Oak during this time.
Due to the size and turning requirements of buses, only certain roads can be used as a diversion. We have worked closely with Brighton and Hove City Council to find the best available routes to keep buses moving while minimising the impact on passengers and local communities.

High View Road - Roadworks - Stop Not In Use
Due to roadworks, we are currently unable to serve High View Road in the eastbound direction (toward Eastbourne/Newhaven/Peacehaven).
Passengers are advised to use the bus stops Broomfield Avenue and Telscombe Tye during this time.

Shoreham - Road closure - Diversion
Due to roadworks on the A283 by Swiss Cottage we are currently diverting in both directions for journeys to and from Steyning.
Towards Steyning
Buses will loop around the roundabout at the High St, go back to the Station, turn right onto Buckingham road, left onto Upper Shoreham road, returning to normal line of route at the Red Lion.
We will be unable to serve the following stops at this time:
Swiss Cottage
Old Shoreham North End
Red Lion (Towards Steyning)
Towards Brighton
Buses will turn left at the Red Lion Upper Shoreham road, Right onto Eastern Avenue to end, Right onto A259 to Roundabout, returning to normal line of route from the High street.
We will not be serving:
Old Shoreham Road North End
Swiss Cottage

Brighton Remembrance Parade - Road Closure
Due to the annual remembrance parade taking place on the 8th of November at the Old Steine in Brighton, we will be unable to serve North Street, Old Steine and part of the Seafront between 10:00 and 12:00.
Routes 5, 5A and 5B towards Old Steine will be on diversion from London Road Shops via Cheapside, New England Hill, 7 Dials, Queens Road to resume route from Churchill Square.
Routes 21, 46 and 49 towards Brighton will be on diversion via Edward Street, Upper Rock Gardens, Marine Parade, and West Street to resume route from Churchill Square.
Routes 22, 24, 25, 26, 28, 29, 29A, 48, 50, 78 and 79 will terminate at the bottom of Edward Street and restart from St Peters Church.
Route 77 from Devils Dyke, after serving Brighton Station will be terminating at Imperial Arcade and will be restarting service from Churchill Square.
Coastal routes towards Brighton will use the Seafront and West Street to resume service from the Clock Tower.
All routes towards Churchill Square from Hove will be on diversion via Queens Road and North Road. They will then resume full route from St Peters Church and Edward Street accordingly.
Route 7, 12, 12A, 13X, 14, 14B will be on diversion from Brighton Station Via North Road and will resume route from Edward Street with the Coastal Routes using Rock Gardens to get back to the seafront.
Please do allow extra time for travel during this time as there may be short term delays or cancellations.
Rottingdean Remembrance Parade - Road Closure - Diversion
Due to the annual remembrance parade in Rottingdean route 2 will be on diversion via Ovingdean in both directions from 11:30 till 13:00.
We will be unable to serve the following stops:
- Ovingdean Road
- Longhill School
- Rottingdean Place
- Court Ord Road
- Rottingdean Cricket Ground
- Bazehill Road
- Rottingdean Pond
- Rottingdean High Street
Please use Rottingdean White Horses or Bottom Of Cowley Drive.
