Rudyard Road, Woodingdean - Road Closure
Due to roadworks on Rudyard Road in Woodingdean buses will be using The Ridgeway in both directions on 18th and 24th August 2026.
Stops not in use:
Rudyard Road
Lockwood Crescent
Bottom of Kipling Avenue
Please use: Crescent Drive North or Bottom of The Ridgway
North Street (N4) - Roadworks - Stop Not In Use
Due to the ongoing Old Steine Improvements, routes 2, 20, 21 and 22 services will not serve the North Street N4 bus stop.
During this time both the 21 and 22 will serve Royal Pavilion R1 bus stop as an alternative.
Routes 2 and 20 will continue on to St James Street as normal.

Carlton Terrace - Roadworks - Diversion
Due to roadworks, parts of Carlton Road and Old Shoreham Road junction will be closed off. We will be unable to serve the following stops for the following routes:
Route 2 services heading toward Shoreham/Steyning will be unable to serve Stapley Road and Isabel Crescent
Please use Olive Road or Links Road bus stops at this time.
Route 6 services heading toward Brighton Station will be unable to serve Carlton Terrace
Please use Benfield Way or Portslade station bus stops at this time.
Route 46 services heading toward Hollingbury will be unable to serve Carlton Terrace.
Please use Benfield Way/Sainsbury Benfield Valley or Portslade Station bus stops at this time.
Route N1 services heading toward Whitehawk will be unable to serve Carlton Terrace.
Please use Dean Gardens or Portslade station bus stops.
Westbourne Villas (Eastbound Towards Whitehawk / Brighton Town Centre) - Temporary Stop
The Westbourne Villas (Eastbound Towards Whitehawk / Brighton Town Centre) stop has been moved to a temporary stop location outside the Hove Museum of Creativity.
