Brighton & Hove Buses Win Double Gold at UK Bus Awards

We’re thrilled to share Brighton & Hove Buses took home three awards, two gold and one silver, at the prestigious UK Bus Awards 2025.
Our ‘Make Your Move’ recruitment campaign came top in the ‘Recruitment and Retention’ category, recognising how this bold and eye-catching campaign (starring real-life drivers Jess, Josephine and Mike) was successful in attracting our highest ever proportion of female applicants.
The marketing campaign for our hugely popular 1X service, themed around the 2024 Olympics, won the top award in the ‘Marketing for Growth’ category. The 1X launch event saw local Olympic gold medallist Sally Gunnell meeting and greeting passengers, celebrating the speed of the new service.
The accolades didn't stop there, as we also took home a Silver award in the ‘Top City Operator’ category.
The UK Bus Awards champion the bus industry by recognising, rewarding and inspiring all those remarkable people that work within it, and honouring the achievements that keep communities connected and moving around the UK.
