Free travel for 5 to 18 year olds
Young people aged 5 to 18 can travel free with a fare-paying adult or concessionary pass holder until the August following their 18th birthday in the Brighton & Hove City Council area.
Please note that this offer is not valid on N1, N5, N7, N12, N14, N25, N29, N48, Brighton City Sightseeing or Eastbourne Sightseeing services.
Children and Young People
We offer a range of discounted fares and tickets for children and young people. Child fares are available until 31st August following a young person's 18th birthday, helping support those in further education and through the summer holidays.
Proof of age
Young people aged 14 to 18 may be asked to prove their age when buying a child ticket on our services.

Single fares travelling with an adult
Up to four children travelling with an adult or concessionary pass holder can travel at the following rates (excluding night services).
